Copenhagen Renaissance Music Festival 2009




The third edition of Copenhagen Renaissance Music Festival will be held in Copenhagen November 2-8, 2009.

This years festival is exclusively dedicated to the neapolitan composer Ascanio Mayone, and includes important european musicians and musicologists, such Christopher Stembridge (uk/at), Mara Galassi (it), Jean-Marc Aymes (fr), Dinko Fabris (it) and Musica Ficta (dk).

There will be held masterclasses and workshops at The Royal Academy of Music with all the soloists, as well as an international conference on Mayone and the music culture in Napoli around 1600.

Laude Illustre



Laude Illustre
is a visual concert for singers, medieval instruments and moving images - with italian medieval Laude music from 13th and 14th C. performed in a visual setting based on secco paintings from danish churches from the same period.
Peformers: Elizabeth Gaver, fiddle and rebec, Agnethe Christensen, cantele and voice, Gro Siri Johansen, voice, Björn Ross, video, light and setting.
Laude Illustre is produced in collaboration between
Modus - Center for Medieval Music, Oslo, Modern Roots, Copenhagen and renaissancemusik.dk.
First performances in Gamlebyen Church, Oslo, June 20 and 21, 2009.

Copenhagen Renaissance Music Festival 2008





The second edition of Copenhagen Renaissance Music Festival will be held in Copenhagen October 12 - November 9, 2008.

The programme includes important european groups and musicians such as Marco Horvat & Ensemble Faenza (fr), Micrologus (it), Christopher Stembridge (uk), Mara Galassi (it), Janice Santos (de), and Freiburger Renaissance Ensemble Passo e Mezzo (de) - as well as leading groups and musicians from Denmark and Sweden: Ars Nova Copenhagen (dk), Musica Ficta (dk), Laude Novella (se) , Anders Danman (se), Fredrik Bock (se) and Lars Colding Wolf - among others.

There will also be held masterclasses with Marco Horvat & Deda Cristina Colonna, Micrologus and Christopher Stembridge, an international conference on Early Opera in collaboration with Nordic Network for Early Opera, a screening of the movie version of The Full Monteverdi with I Fagiolini at The Danish Film Institute/Cinemateket and a lot more....

CLOSER 2008



Dance-video-music performance in collaboration with choreographer Thomas Eisenhardt, Åben Dans and composer/musician Simon Christensen, Kundi Bumbo
Dancers: Ole Birger Hansen, Sofia Karlsson, Cesar Carcia, Louise Hyun Dahl. 
Musicians: Eblis Alvarez, Peter Navarro-Alonso.
I made the videographic production, which was a live mix between real time video and prerecorded material. 
The performances was given at Gimle in Roskilde and touring around Sjælland and Bornholm, February 18 - March 13 2008.
