an incomplete map of everything 2006

An interdisciplinary festival of language, performance, and sound @ Links Hall, Chicago, February 3 - 26 2006.  
Feb. 11 I presented a new sound-video performance version of the work-in-progress ORGAN - ORGAN [chicago requiem] - a remix of new and old material.
Feb. 12 I presented a selected number of danish and scandinavian sound artists which I had curated, including Goodiepal, Jonas Olesen, Jacob Kirkegaard, Brandon LaBelle, Tanja Schlander, Wäldchengarten, Pol Mod Pol, and Jab Mica Och El.
The festival was curated by Mark Booth.

Konstruktion Menneske 2005



Konstruktion Menneske [Construction Man] - 
a dance-performance-installation in collaboration with artist Leonard Forslund and choreographer Thomas Eisenhardt, Åben Dans. 
Two dancers - Ole Birger Hansen and Signe Andersen - were performing 6 hrs every day for a week.
The performance was part of the exhibition INTER_ACTION @ 
The Museum of Contemporary Art, Roskilde, November 2005.

Sound Facts 2005



Sound art event with installations, conferences and concerts at Museo della Musica in Bologna May 2005 with participants from Italy and Denmark. 
I curated the danish part, which included Brandon LaBelle, Goodiepal, Jacob Nielsen, Michael Mørkholt, Tanja Schlander, Søren helvildt, Lars Hansen, Mikko Jensen and me.
My own installation - ORGAN [museo] - was a 4-channel sound piece based on organ music by J.S. Bach, integrated in the museum collection.

Overgaden Sound Art Festival 2004



International sound art festival held at Overgaden Institute for Contemporary Art in Copenhagen, August 5 - September 3 2004.
Co-curators: Mark Booth (us), Brandon LaBelle (us), Claire Savoie (ca), John Hopkins (us), Mindaugas Gapsevicius (lt), Tanja Schlander (dk), Michael Mørkholt (dk), Jacob Nielsen (dk), Mikko Jensen (dk) and Lars Hansen (dk).
Live performances by Anne Laplantine, Sun OK Papi, Goodiepal, Teppop, Steve Bradley, Jacob Kirkegaard, Jodi Rose, Leif Elggren, Tetsuo Furudate, Brandon LaBelle, Schmacke, Wäldchengarten, Runar Magnusson, Tanja Schlander, Minimal Turntablists, Jakob Draminsky Højmark, Alexei Shulgin, Dave Phillips, Jason Forrest, Single Unit, John Hopkins, Jab Mica Och El, Enrico Glerean, Twins, Sven Lütgen, Søren helvildt, Soviet Subliminal Sedution, Danny Kreutzfeldt and a lot more...
In addition to the performances there was a sound archive with 70 hrs of audio and video material by over 110 artists from all over the world. Interactive multimedia works, cover art, posters and books were also to be found in the festival installation space which was open to the public six days a week.

PlayDead 2004


PlayDead - a multimedia installation in collaboration with Leonard Forslund at Landskrona Konsthall, Sweden, January 10 - February 22 2004.
This is a work-in-progress project - including text, audio, slides, video and computer animations - which had previously been shown in other versions at Skulptur i Eventyrhaven/Vollsmose, Odense in 2002, and at Albertslunds Rådhus, Copenhagen in 2003.
